While installing Windows XP, if anybody gets this kind of message,

"setup is loading files (Kernel Debugger DLL)", or something similar,

and then it just freezes up, try re-seating the CPU, and applying a little additional thermal compound between the CPU and the heatsink on the fan.

It only took me countless hours before trying this, but it worked.

Good luck - I know how frustrating it can be, but try and hang in.
