Hi all,
I have a strange problem with one of my clients. Every Friday or so, folders that are shared on the network suddenly dis-allow users to connect to them. Users have drives mapped to the shares via login script and has functioned well for over 3 years. For the last month or so they have been experiencing these problems. Event viewer tells me nothing.
As a work-around, I un-share the folders, causing all user sessions to disconnect from the shares and re-share with the same share and security permissions to solve the problem. This works everytime and takes less than 2 minutes.
I would like to solve this problem though. Microsoft cannot offer me any help on the subject. Any advice would be appreciated.
