Sharing a printer

I have a desktop with windows 7 and a laptop with vista. The laptop has a wireless connection (which works just fine). What I would like to figure out is how do I use my printer (it is connected to my desktop) from my laptop. I have a d-link router. The desktop is plugged into the router.

i think you can check your router documentation to see how u can make it an access point then u can connect your laptop to it.
then you can share your printer
