Sharing printer in multiple computer

I have win2000 OS and LAN connection . I want a clear suggestions or instructions which I would be able to set up and able to print my document document from one computer to others. Awaiting for earliest reply.

Well.


can 1 computer talk to the other computer(meaning can they share files between them)

if yes then install printer locally on computer.
Go to start>settings>control panel>printers & fax.

right click the printer. click on "sharing"
enable sharing and give the printer a simple name preferably with no spaces. apply settings and exit.

on the remote computer go to start>settings>control panel>printers & fax. choose add a printer. follow directions to install networked printer.
