I built my computer almost a year ago now and i have to say its been running great thanks to good advice from techspot members. I had an old speaker system that died about a week ago i got a new speaker setup, i upgraded to a 5.1 system. I'm not gonna lie it sounds fantastic and I'm a big fan of the fact every speaker has a separate wire. Heres what could be a problem, I dont have a sound card. It sounds great without but could i pump out more quality with one?

Theoretically, a separate soundcard should provide more quality than any onboard "card". But to be really honest, I have an onboard HD audio card, and it sounds really well.

It's all up to you :)
