    Heres My Setup:
    Athlon XP 2500+
    Asus A7N8X Deluxe
    1GB Kingston PC2700 (2x512)
    DVD Rom
    CDRW
    30 GB WD (boot drive)
    120GB WD (data)

well my 30GB just died so i am thinking of replacing it with a 250GB Maxtor. Well im going to make the 120 my boot drive (partitioned) and make the 250 a data drive. My question is... will i need to do anything special so that Windows will be able to recognise the 250? i.e. update bios or get an IDE controller card? I dont think i need to but i just wanna be sure. Thanks.

You should not have any problems with a 250GB drive (or larger) on the A7N8X Deluxe.
