Sims 2 help

  1. I just got Sims 2, and I'm getting the same "DirectX" message that many others are getting. I've read through the other threads, and it seems people just need to find out their Chip Type and download that type. However, mine just says n/a under chip type. Does anyone know what I can do to find out my chip type?

Thanks a ton! I'm not great with computers, so I hope someone can help me.:D

    Can someone please help me?

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

You probably need to upgrade your graphics card.

    See this post HERE.
