ok I've read many of the posts on the sims2 im having the same problem with the Directx9.0 thing! Here's all my comp info, please let me know what I need to do

So what do I do now, do I need to buy a video card or can I fix this myself somehow?

Go buy a computer, what you listed above isn't a computer anymore its an expensive paper weight.
If you can't afford a computer just get a deck of cards.

Sorry Realidad, you won't be able to play the sims 2 without an upgrade, i'd be surprised if you got the sims 1 working
