  1. Staff: I do believe SIW has no longer been freeware for quite some time. Here's our download page: http://www.techspot.com/downloads/155-siw-system-info.html

(For more than a year, probably more like 2, SIW has posted this notice, "freeware version discontinued", when I've tried to access the "broadband speed test".

At the current time, Mr. Topola's site, (SIW home site), shows no free version of SIW. The lowest price is $19,95 for the "Home" version.

Here is the current SIW download page, which shows the same version number that we do: https://www.gtopala.com/siw/buy.php

Thanks for the note. We've corrected to be listed as trial not freeware. Come Monday I'll have our download crew look into the SIW entry as it seems there is a way to get the last free version of the app (albeit out of date) for those who might be interested.

Julio, I have an ancient build (0707), dating to 2011. It won't allow full functionality with web based parts of the app.

Then too, it's strange that my Ivy Bridge box seems to be percolating along nicely with what SIW is telling me is a +12 volt reading of 3.39 volts.

Meh, maybe it could be a bad download, or bad copy of one...
