hi all,
i recently had problems with the BSOD on my dell laptop. im sure i got it from a software that i installed that was a virus...im wondering if i hook that hard drive to a clean laptop and do the "8 steps" and pop it back in my dell and see if it works....
i thought by running malwarebytes or ccleaner it would only check the primary drive.. not the slave..or hijack this.. will it detect it from this drive? and get rid of the virus by doing that? or do i have to be loaded up in the original laptop to do this?
anyways i hooked up the hdd but i cant read everything inside it. it says 60gb used...but when i view properties 10 gbs used... please help with this because either way im not sure how i'd find that virus...
