Slow Laptop?!

    I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this topic...

    my laptop's running slow for the 4th day today~ it takes about 5 minutes on the opening "Windows XP (loading...)" i deleted unused programs, deleted files, run disk defrag, run ad-aware, run cccleaner, and it's still slow when loading @ start-up ~any other advice?

    here's my computer specs if it helps:

    just the usual things i do, surf the net, watch videos, and listen to music... i always leave it on even if i'm not doing anything~ i've been doing this ever since i got this laptop (w/c i around 4-5 months ago)
