Slow reponse when rolling over menu's, links etc

Why am I receiving slow responses when rolling over links on the internet, right clicking then rolling my mouse over the options on the menu - even when clicking on a box (tick boxes).. I am just receiving slow responses to things.

For example, by slow response I mean the time between rolling over a link to the time it turns into a different colour. What is causing this slow response? Even when I highlight my text it's a slow response.

Now all this has started happening.. since like yesterday. I updated my video drivers and updated to .Net Framework 3.0. Could this have caused this?

My basic specs are:

Intel Pent 4 3.00ghz
1.00GB of RAM
Graphics card - Radeon X850

It could be the new video drivers,or it could be some program

has added an entry to your right click menu.

Are there any new entries in your right click menu ?

Look in the Task Manager and see if there any processes using a lot of CPU.

Try rolling back the video drivers or a System Restore to when everything worked.

It`s unlikely to be the .Net Framework update.
