Yes, the "good old days" were so far superior... wait... no they weren't... cost of progress is id1ots not being able to cope with it...
(BTW: It was 10 miles, uphill both ways, with snow up to our necks, barefoot, had to leave at 0200 to get there on time, and didn't home until 2200.) Some people are unable to cope with technology. True. That's why I have a flip phone. I feel no obligation to answer it. Those who are killing themselves (as opposed to those who are killed) because their smart phone is more important than what's going on in the real world is a good example of natural selection. They are weak members of the herd who will be eliminated. Our species is thereby improved.
