    DX 10, are you running Vista? A 512MB AGP card is not too scarce. You list a whole page. Are we supposed to pick one for you? What kind/model of monitor are you using?

    no i am running xp sp3 but what does that have to do with DirectX 10?
    i am using a dell 19' E198FP screen and yes i was hoping you could help me find the best one or just point out the bad ones.

    DX10 is only available with Vista. DX9c is as far as XP goes. DX-10 cards are backwards compatible with DX9, so no harm, no foul.

    That's why Tmagic mentioned DX-10, methinks you started it.

    just for conformation i can use a dx10.1 card in xp yes or no

    Yes you can use a DX10 card with XP but it will only run at DX9c rates
