SOF 2 Problems, need help fast.......

  1. Whenever I try to launch SOF2, lately it comes up with this message:

    client_model has invalid definition

    This is even after installing and re-installing it approximately 4 times, and adding the SOF2 Gold Patch as well.

    ahhh, please upgrade your geforce driver (nFORCEWARE v77.77 or newer) Hope it helps, im still using nFORCEWARE v56.72, work great for me.

    ahh, two things, install the latest D3D from DirectX newer than August 2005, and run it if it not work, reinstall the game, not work? get new video card such as GeForce FX5200

    So you are attempting to run this as a server and not just the client, right?

    And just to make sure, you are not using any mods, skins or models right? a "bad" mod might create a very simliar problem.

    If it worked at one time, but has quit working since any mods were installed... Uninstall it, delete the whole folder it is in (probably C:\Program Files\Ravensoft\....) and reinstall.
