    Hello
I have Windows 98, a Sony DVD player (ddu1621) and WinDVD 1.2. Old shool I am.

    Here is my problem :
Some DVDs won't play on my computer.
For these, the DVD starts normally (Copyright warnings, Production animation sequence, etc) but ends before the chapter menu. WinDVD doesn't say anything, it just stops playing.

I have tried the following :
    - mount another DVD player (hardware)
    - install another DVD player (software)
    - try software like DVDRegionFree, etc...
    it doesn't change anything.

    Could anyone help me ?
Could my problem be in relation with installing and uninstalling software for and having problems with a external Iomega USB HDD ? Actually I have ONE DVD that would play and that won't play since this.

    Thanks.
