Hello guys, hopefully someone can help me here. For about a week now, Google.ca has refused to come up. It works on all my friends and familys computers but it refuses to come up on mine. A Couple other sites refuse to come up as well. I really don't know what the problem could be but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have a recent install of Internet Explorer 7.0? Sometimes there are problems there. Usually, a tour of settings, tools, and such will help you figger it out. Watch closely a yellow bar in the top tool bar reporting that IE is blocking such and such file or program... then you should get an opportunity to install it anyway.\
Or
Install Firefox 2.0 and try a Google install from there.

I have tried looking through settings of IE 7 but everything seemed okay. I also already have firefox and google does not work on it either.

Suprisingly rare. I have never seen that, despite hundreds upon hundreds of installs... usually if Google will not work on IE, it will work on Firefox.
You must have a serious infestation of some kind.. or a Windows problem.

Go and read this thread HERE, then post a HJT log as an attachment into this thread.

Unfortenatly the problem with google is still here :(. I had a thing come up saying something was detected that tryed to change my home page to <none>. If i click no then it just keeps coming back and if i click yes it just keeps coming back. Oh yeah, and heres the hijackthis log.

After some research, it seems the c:\secure32.html file is the result of trojan/worm activity.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Download combofix.exe. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts. A window will open with a warning. Type "Y" (and Enter) to start the fix. When the scan completes it will open a text window. Please attach that log back here together with a fresh HJT log. Caution - do not touch your mouse/keyboard until the scan has completed. The scan will temporarily disable your desktop, and if interrupted may leave your desktop disabled. If this occurs, please reboot to restore the desktop.

1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 from HERE. Save it to your Desktop and extract it.

2. Download the attached avengerscript.txt and save it to your desktop

Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system.

3. Now, start The Avenger program by double clicking on its icon on your desktop.

Under "Script file to execute" choose "Load script from file".
Now click on the folder icon which will open a new window titled "open Script File"
navigate to the file you have just downloaded, click on it and press open
Now click on the Green Light to begin execution of the script
Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.

4. The Avenger will automatically do the following:

It will Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Unload", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.

5. Please attach the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply.

when it reboots and post a fresh HJT log.

Damn, that didn`t work. This is something new that I`ve not seen before. Please do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Ah sorry i have not replied in a while. I was able to fix the problem and forgot to repost here. I used Spybot: Search and destroy and it found something called redirected hosts for google.ca and google.com, getting rid of those completly made google accesible :|. I put the hijackthis log anyways just in case there was something else i need to fix.

Your HJT log is clean as a whistle.

I`m glad your problem is solved and thanks for letting us know.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.
