  1. hello guys please give me some ideas how to fix this,

i have a laptop, with 80G SATA HD,1G memo, and i partitioned it equally
the first partition i installed windows vista ultimate, and windows vista
works fine after the installation, and then on the second partition i installed windows xp and after the installation it suppose to be it will get me to the screen where i should choose Operating system and i wonder why it automatically boots in windows xp? And then i edit the boot.ini so that i can choose operating system, but when i choose windows vista my screen hangs up.. what should i do??

    please help, thanks in advance.

Don't know for sure if it would make a difference but I would install XP first on the first partition, then install Vista on the second partition. Worth a shot.

oh i see? have you tried it already and runned the 2 OS succesfully?
btw is there any alternative way i could fix this problem? because it puts a lot of time and effort installing the 2 OS together.

    please help thanks in advance.
