Sonic DVD Burning Problem

My sister is burning photos onto a DVD-R disc -- she is making it look like a slideshow with audio included for an anniversary present. The problem she is having is this...The photos fade in and fade out as they should however the song she is using does not play all the way through. It abruptly stops 3/4 of the way through the song. She has the Windows XP operating system and is using Sonic DVD burning software. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
