I've just installed one of these and everything seemed fine. The bios liked it and Windows XP picked it up and assigned it a drive letter
However...it won't eject. I've tried the eject button and also ejecting from within windows XP and other pieces of software. The green light goes on for a bit as if its about to respond, and then goes out
I'm running it as a secondary slave. The secondary master is a DVD and the primary master is my Hard Drive
I've tried disconnecting the DVD and making the CDRW the primary master but no joy.
This drive may be incompatible with the celeron processor I have - but even so I would have thought it would still eject !
Is it simply a hardware manufacturing error ?????
