Sony cybershot camera problem

    I cannot turn on my camera to take a photo. No matter what icon the dial is on (i.e. picture mode, review mode, etc) when I turn on the camera and it is not connected to the computer it comes up as being in USB mode as if it was connected! Please help, I am technologically useless!

    Take the battery out for a while then try it again if you haven't already done that. Also plug the camera in to the computer then unplug it and see if that resets it. If nothing works maybe you can find an answer here:
