Sony Digital Camera Upload Issues

Hello everyone-

I have a sony cybershot Digital camera. I am having some issues with it when uploading & editing the pics...here's what happens...

If I rotate the image on the memory stick, then transfer it to my computer, the image shows up fine. However, if I then go back to view the image in my camera, it says "File Error". Additionally, I have a Sony TV that allows me to view my memory sticks in it as a slideshow. The same thing happens when I edit the pictures on my PC, transfer them BACK to the memory stick to the correct folder. It doesn't happen to all of the pictures. Only the rotated ones.

Any thoughts?

What software are you using to rotate the pics? If its not the cheesy sony ImageMax or whatever its called, then this is most likely your problem.

Sorry for the delay...I am using the basic Image/Fax viewer in Windows XP.
