Noticed at tech-report.com that Sony Japan has announced 2 new PDAs:

    http://www.cliesource.com/cgi-bin/news.cgi?thread=000056

    Some specs:

    - 66 mHz Dragonball Super VZ
    - 3.8 inch TFT screen
    - Back-lit colour liquid display
    - 320x480 resolution
    - 65,536 colors
    - Top flip with screen swivels/rotates
    - (ie. hides the keyboard, and allows complete soft graffiti usage)

The battery can apparently last 10 days under normal use... Wonder if this will be available outside Japan... :D

Since my Palm Pilot lives at the back of a drawer I don't think I'll be considering one of those, although sony's kit is particularly attractive. I'll vouch for there mp3/atrac technology being good as I use one of their Network players. Just stuck in a world between phones and laptops. Since I travel with both 90% of the time, a PDA just isn't viable. It would just be an expensive toy for me.
I see Sony are providing an Optional Bluetooth add-on PCGA-BM1. Bluetooth headset/headphones???

I would personally buy one if it has a built in phone something like the Visor Treo. Sony is kinda known for its ultra hip PDAs with support for MP3 and hi-color displays.

    True...

I wouldn't mind having a phone that had PDA functionality.
Anything thats a bit nicer than the Trium Mondo would be acceptable ;)
