Sound card disappearance

After I reverted back to the 'Last Good Configuration' in Windows 2000, my computer cannot detect my sound card. I have the drivers but I can't reinstall them because of this. What should I do?

(Sound Card: Sound Blaster PCI 128, installed on the motherboard)

Can you not delete the sound card all together from the hardware device menu? You should be able to completely get rid of it from there, and then restart your computer and have it get auto detected again. Then reinstall the drivers fo rit.
