Sound Card Probleme. DELL

I have an SOUNDMAX INTEGRATED DIGITIAL AUDIO sound card and i cannot find the drivers for it i tried some sound max drivers and it does not work.Any help will be apreciated.

Didn't the Dell machine come with drivers on a CD ?

We can't really help you unless we know the board type & the OS on which you wish to install the drivers.

I am suprised that Dell do not have the drivers on their website, I have found in the past that drivers for Dell machines are sometimes exclusive to Dell and generics ofter won't work.

I lost my cd and i check on the dell site and the drivers dont work

There's about a 95% chance those drivers indeed work.

The reason they do not work (most likely) is a misunderstanding or error on your part. It may be the wrong driver (Dell usually has multiple ones for download), a software situation with your computer that won't allow it etc...

I would look on Dell's website again and try a variety of drivers.
