Sound Card

Hello new here. I have did a format and reinstall windows. Everything went well, except there is no sound card install. I went into add hardware and in there came up PCi multimedia audio device. It serch for drivers and was unable to find driver. How can I get drivers for the sound card.

I have wins98 SE

If you have onboard sound, then you can get the audio drivers from your mobo manufacturers website. You should also install the chipset drivers as well.

If you have a separate sound card, then you need to visit the soundcard manufacturers website.

Thanks I will try that, although I'm not really sure the manufactor of the drivers
