Im probably annoying you to all heck huh?

Anyways, i get this error when i load my non-root user.

Here is a screenshot for you.

Im not sure what file is doing this to make it come up with this error.

I dont even have that directory, and when i tried to create it and copy mixer into that folder, wouldnt copy as root even. So, im left with the question..where is this file i need to edit for this user to get sound?

    Thanks

Well i got sound to work under users by creating a new group called audio and adding the devices etc, etc.

But the error still comes up...where do you think it is coming from? so i can either remark it out or fix it.

    Thanks

Does the mixer device exist even? You may have to create it under /dev. You may try changing permissions on that device file also.

No that file doesnt even exsist in that directory...there is some file on boot up that tells it to go there, hence the error..im wondering what file that could be.
