Sound wont work in my internet browser

My sound in my internet browser isnt working. I dont know what to do. I have firefox with IE tab, and i mainly do youtube and google video. I dont know much computer language, so if, by any stretch, you could give me easy to follow step by step instructions, it would be greatly appreciated. (although any help would be nice )

Chances are your using onboard audio device, which means youll need to download the latest motherboard drivers for your chipset, This will include the sound driver,,,,

When you go to audio devices in control panel, what does it say ? help us help u

Control Panel says i have no current audio devices. I don't know how to look at what sound card i have...please help!!!

Did you buy that PC? If you did who makes it? I would go to who makes it and download sound drivers for it...
