Soundblaster 5.1 sound issue in gp500

hi all i only have an average pc but all i want to do is play gp500 bike racing on it.

but since i put this soundblaster 5.1 live card in which i was told would improve performance i only here my bike and no other sounds but if i turn off sound accelaration in dxdiag i hear all of them and its fine but then frame rate suffers.

so how can i get all the sounds in my game with sound acceleration on.

please help me.
