SoundBlaster Audigy Drivers

  1. I seem to have misplaced my CD for installing my sound blaster audigy drivers. :( And the soundblaster site doesnt have the drivers.. only the update tp the CD.. which i dont have. :(

    Is there any place i can get these drivers. (not all the programs that come on the CD.. just the drivers.) Is there anywhere i can get it?

    You help is greatly appreciated

    Hello =),

    It is not fun when you don't have drivers for hardware =/.

    What sound card do you have ?

    - Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
    - Sound Blaster Audigy MP3
    - Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum
    - Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum eX does not have the right drivers ?

    What operating system do you use ?

    Nice sound card =)

    Do these links work for you?

    If you use Windows XP:

    If you use Windows 9x:

    If you use another o/s:

    The file you want is : AUDRVWDM.EXE/AUDRVVXD.EXE

    Thanx.. but they are the same ones that SoundBlaster has on their site.
    They are updates.. i need the Base driver files.. to install the card itself.. i have those other files.. but it tells me i need to install the CD first.. but i dont have the CD

    Any more tips?

    Windows does not detect the card and install its own auto
    drivers ?

    Hey, i run windows 2000.

    those links didnt really help
    the Live one did.. only in the fact that it shows u can download them for live.. but no audigy..
    its starting to annoy me.

    I've searched for the installation drivers on the net and if they are out there, they're not easy to find. Seems like you should 1) Contact the shop/guy from where you bought the card, 2) Contact Creative and get a replacement CD or 3) Borrow one from a friend who as Audigy.
    Strange choice by Creative I think. I mean - if you have bought the card and your dog trashes the CD, you should be able to use your card without having to wait for a replacement CD.

    Extract the files in the zip you download & run the ctzap.exe file.
