SoundBlaster Live 5.1 AC-3 problem

    hi

    i have a soundblaster live 5.1 mp3+ with a Hoontech SB DB III addon. This addon just uses the expansion head to output stuff in coax and optical.

    I have a digital coax from this addon connected to a pioneer receiver with decoder.

    and i have put on digital output only for settings but i am still only getting stereo. I even tried using a mono jack from the normal digital out from the card to receiver and its still in stereo.

    Anyone have any idea what is going on?

    here is my system spec

    AMD 1.4 Ghz
    512mb DDR2100
    Geforce4 Ti 4200 128mb
    soundblaster live 5.1 mp3+
    pioneer VSX-D511 receiver
    12inch subwoofer
    5 speakers

    I think we might have the same problem.
    there´s another thread called something like SB Live to reciever
