    Hi.. I don't know if this matter was posted before, if it was my apologies...
    I was trying to listeng to songs but my soundcard just don't work :eek: I kinda freak out and the winamp showed me a message:
    Another program is using your soundcard. Please change output device (in waveOut lpug-in configuration), switch to DirectSound output or get a soundcard which can play multiple streams.
    I did that and it shows me an error again :confused: it says:
    Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper driver or select another device in configuration. Error code: 8878000A
    What should I do?? I will appreciate your help!
    Thanks!!

    Hmm.. i recently installed a modem... A friend of mine told me to change the slot of the modem and when I did it the sound came back but my pc didn't recognize the modem, so I change it to the slot where it was and everything was normal, the sound was back and the modem worked perfectly... I don't think the problem was solved... o_o;;;

    The audio lead generally plugs in in that (PCI) area, maybe you 1/2 disconnected it moving your modem?

    anyway, glad it's fixed.:grinthumb
