    Hello everyone,
I have recently noticed that my speaker volume is going up and down by itself. It happens when i'm listening to music, playing games, everything. I have a kt3 ultra mobo, with onboard Avance AC'97 audio 5.1 surround sound speakers. I've played around with my audio options when i noticed the problem and can't figure out what is going on. Please give me some advice.

    Thanks

Any batteries involved in your audio loop? Replace.

Any volume controls on your keyboard? Try disabling keyboard audio control.

Any Windows utilities running that control audio? Running in the System Tray, and check Task Manager. Close any extra audio-related apps.

Otherwise, it could just be your speakers, or sound card amp, going out.

No i don't have any volume controls on my keyboard.

I'll check my system tray, and task manager.

my mobo and speakers are about 6 years old so i don't doubt 1 is going bad. I'll check the stuff you suggested and get back with you.

    Thank!
