    After many a long hour trying a wide variety of different programs to remove spywar and adware, and many more following instructions to manually delete certain specific instances, I have discovered that there is even more crap which appears to be resistant to even the most (supposedly) advanced programs, and beyond the comprehension of a mere mortal such as myself. So here's a log: my canoe needs oars :grinthumb
