Spyware Guard still active?

Have had it on my computer for several years, but have
found the last live definition update was in 04.

Is it still active?

I tried to download it again, but my computer can't open
or run the setup file - ??

Can someone shed a little light on this?

I also re-downloaded Sygate Personal Firewall,
and then restarted.

Upon restart, Zone Alarm asked if I wanted to allow
connection to something called NDIS - I did not allow,
but then Sygate couldn't find the update link.

Is this NDIS what Sygate was trying to connect to?

The Sygate firewall was discontinued quite sometime ago, after it was bought by Symantec.

The replacement for it is the free Kerio firewall.

I`m not sure if Spyware Guard is still up to date or not.

It`s certainly still available from HERE.
