  1. my mobo reads the lan card after the mobo boot up
    i know this is not normal since wen it was new it never did that activity
    is there anyway i can avoid that reading,it has not caused me ny trouble but it bothers me a lot since i never seen it b4

    im using

    intel dg101ggc
    dual core 2.66ghz each [smithfield]
    2 Ram modules 1gb each DDR1
    80gb hdd
    sony dvd writer

    reading the NIC card or HD serial is not uncommon. it is frequently used to
    identify "this is the system I think it is" for software licensing.
