This is my first post, so I would like to say hello to everyone here. My issue started after my power supply died. My system is a Gigabit GA-7VTXE Mobo/Athlon +1900/512MB RAM. I replaced the power supply and the system would then turn on/pass the post screen/and then just a black screen. Restarted system and did not get to post screen. Shut off system/unplug power for 5min/restart system and then hangs on post screen. I have reset CMOS/unplugged HDD/with same results. I cannot verify if my old power supply had over voltage protection, so i'm beginning to believe its something with the motherboard or cpu. Anyone else have any ideas on this type of issue?
