i have 3 disks, when i insert the 1st disk and open the contents its fine no problem, but when i insert disk number 2 with completely differernt contents it shows the contents from 1sts disk, same for the 3rd. I have refreshed, opened closed explorer get the same thing, is this the drive packing up or windows related.

We have seen this with bad eide cables, and with failed optical drives. How old and often used is your optical drive.

brand new , the pc is like 3 months old, they used the 2 days ago and was fine

    try a completely unrelated disc
    or blank disc
I have seen this using 3rd party explorer shell commands
but not right from windows explorer shell
    refresh has always worked
if above still shows old data
must try new drive or rma the whole thing back as it is new and if you open up the machine you may be screwing with the warranty
