I received a stop message on a BSOD
    Stop:0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XE3F6711F, 0XEC328AD8, 0X00000000)

This happened after i installed a new 160 GB HD on my computer and a 512m of ram. Usualy when im playing a game my computer just restarts and says your computer has recovered from a seriouse error. I tried installing new drivers for my Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 and updating my BIOS but it still restarts. I got the new HD because my old one (160 GB HD) broke. I'm not a computer wiz or anything like that and i need help.

If you can email me at andriy110@hotmail.com

    Thanks for the help! :D

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Is you new stick of ram compatible with your mobo?

Do you still get the same problem if you use only your old ram?

Go HERE and follow the instructions.

If that doesn`t help. Zip 5 or 6 minidumps together, and attach them here.

    Regards Howard

Go and follow the instructions in the link I provided.

Then if that doesn`t help attach the minidumps.

    Regards Howard :)
