Stop Code Error 1000007e

  1. We are running Windows 2003 server and are frequently receiving the error below in the event viewer. The server performs a memory dump and restarts. Attached is the minidump from the stop code error. If someone has seen this stop code error or have any advise on how to resolve the issue. It would be much appreciated. From what i have read it seems to be pointing to a software driver of a hardware device or memmory.

    Thanks in advance

Your minidump is crashed with bugcheck 0A. From the stack trace, I believe that it is faulty ram. However one minidump is insufficient to determine the culprit. Run memtest to stress test the ram. Attach 5 to 6 minidumps here.

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 64ffc700, memory referenced
    Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 00000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: 8085fec0, address which referenced memory
