Hello, I am new around here, I have ... the same as other people some restarts, and stop problems:

Error signature:
BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : BF003F0F BCP3 : BA56FC68
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

I have attached 2 minidumps files (hope its enough, I have recently reintaled windows)

And recently I bought the new HDD (I was thinking that the HDD was the problem)

10x in advance.

Computer:
AMD Athlon 2100+
Gygabyte KT600-L (i think)
160 GB Seagate Baracuda
512 DDRAM
FX 5200
DVD-RW LG 8x

danny,

hello, welcome to TechSpot!

One of the minidumps is faulting at dxg.sys. This is the DirectX Graphics Driver -- updating both DirectX (if necessary) and your video card drivers should help the situation.

The second is faulting at nv4_disp.dll. This is your graphics driver. Once again, try updating to the latest video card drivers and see if it helps.

If both are already updated or it doesn't help, try running memtest on your RAM and checking your temps and voltages to your video card/RAM. I had the same problem earlier and it turned out that my PSU wasn't producing enough amperage to the video card. It may also be a hardware problem, but before you RMA anything definitely rule out all other possibilities first!

Hello, 10x very much 4 the answer.

the direct x version I am using is 9.0c - i think it is the last one.
the video card driver version (i am using nvidia FX 5200) is 93.71 the latest.

Can you tell me how to verify the voltages to my video card/RAM ?
So I can verify if I need to change my PSU.

10x very much.
