Stop message + no internet connection

I'm having a problem with my computer. I run Windows XP. Yesterday everything seemed to work fine. Today it will not connect to the internet. Firefox, Internet Explorer, and AIM all fail to connect.

Then, when I went to Uninstall Superantispyware Pro (trial period ended), I got the blue screen with the message "a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer." It listed Stop: 0x000006CE (0xEFCF7660, 0x00000000, 0xEFCF7660, 0x00000000). It also mentioned that the problem may be caused by the file SASKUTILS.sys.

I'm posting this from my wife's laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

SASKUTILS.sys is a driver for SUPERantispyware It appears that there is a remnant of SAS on your commputer and may be causing conflicts resulting in system crashes.

SAS are highly professional so my recommendation is to contact their support and tell them of your issues, that SASKUTILS.sys was specifically cited as the cause and your error code is 0x000006CE.

Let us know if it is resolved.
