  1. my specs:
    intel 865glc
    p4 3.0
    1.5gb ram
    xfx 6800xt 256mb ddr3

the score i got was 4000
in comparison to similar systems i was in last place and even got beaten by a celeron 2.8 and complete stock speed 6800xt (mine is OCed slightly)

is there anyway i can improve my performance?
what can be causing this low performance?

Well the 6800XT is a budget board, The 6800GT would give score of 5000 to 5500 ish,

    A geforce 6800 ultra would give 6kish ,

It's probably not the exact same one. If you get these results from Futuremark's ORB, then they can be horribly wrong (I once found a 7800GT classified as a Radeon X700). Probably the card you see is in actuality a 6800GT or 6800 Ultra... it might not be a 6800 at all, it may just be improperly labeled.
