Strange error message

Hi Im getting a strange error message whenever I put a dvd or cdrom in my drive it says something along the lines of "error the drive is not ready, the door may be open" which I assure you its not,Im not that much of a noob lol.
THE DISC WILL LOAD BUT THE MESSAGE JUST KEEPS APPEARING AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Sorryfor caps, does anyone know why its doing this or how to stop it,the pcs troubleshooter doesnt help at all?

What program(s)? Or is this appearing at any time? I don't believe this is a Windows error. Have you ran adaware/spyware programs, online virus scan (trendmicro's housecall), hijackthis?

Are you sure that`s the exact error your getting ? In my experience it`s perfectly normal for there to be a slight delay before the disc is detected.If you try run it before it`s detected,you will get a similar error.If there is a LONG delay,it could a bad connection or power problem.
