Would there be any difference in the screen quality by using a cheaper $15 dvi cable from cables to go compared to a $50 cable with gold connectors? I had to buy the $50 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...CategoryId=pcmcat33400050027&id=1099391933829 cable to hook up when i bought the Monitor but i found this at MWAVE.com And i can still return the expensive one.http://www.mwave.com/mwave/skusearch.hmx?SCriteria=3372705&CartID=done&nextloc= Thanks Danny
The difference between the 2 cables is in how long they will last. The gold plated one for example will last for ages as the gold stops the contacts from oxidesing so you should never need to replace it, the cheaper one on the other hand will allow oxidiation and therefore will need to be replaced more often. Also, the more expensive one will undoubtedly use higher quality cable which will be far less prone to breakage and voltage loss. I work for a company that produces lots of different cables for the trade and have had plenty of customers wanting cheaper cable, as we say to them, you gets what you pays for. So my advice is to stick with the expensive one, it could save you money in the long run. Hope that helps. Rik.
