Can't help you on the 1st part but you can get the beta release of XP for 64bit Release Candate 1 or 2? for free at the moment (it will stop working after a specified date).

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/default.mspx

I would try contacting your pc manfacturer on how to get a replacement or you have to buy it again :(

You can use anybody's disk for that, as long as you use YOUR key. Just make sure, that if your key is an OEM-key, that you get another OEM-disk.
If yours is a retail-key get another retail-disk. You can NOT install Pro if your key is for Home and vice versa.
