Stupid Virus

Hey Techspot,

I need a little help here, my anti-virus software is telling me that my computer has been infected by a virus and it won't stop alerting me.

Here's what it is, the anti-virus software always pop-ups a message in my computer stating this message:

Malicious code found in file C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\DOCUMENTS\SHAREDDOCS.EXE.
Infection: Virus.Win32.VB.p
Action: The file was deleted.

and every time I click OK, it then starts popping-up again. It even stacks up messages, like I don't click OK, there's this unread message counter saying "messages waiting: 1.. then 2.. then 3.. and goes on and on and never stops.

What is the problem with my computer? Could you help me please?

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
