Sudden shutdowns on my new laptop

Hi, I just brought a new laptop, an Asus Republic Of Gamers G75V with windows 8, and I am experiencing sudden random shutdows. So far, it happened 3 times when browsing the web (so it's not an overheating problem, as it never happened while I was playing games). The battery was fully charged and I was plugged in a surge bar every time it happened.

Is it a PSU problem? I'm not very knowledgeable about that, and I'd like to have your opinion about that. Thanks

Take the laptop back to where you bought it and have it repaired or replaced under warranty...
