    I would go for a 970 + an upgraded i5 (i5 3570K, which uses the same socket) + a hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler. That will be a great upgrade. As for brands, I like EVGA, ASUS, and Gigabyte. But MSI is also good. It may take some research to determine which is best because you are from India and some companies may charge more for importing there (therefore a higher unit price).

    No more gtx 970 ..

    a gtx 770 4 GB or AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB

    R9 290 X for $299 with like $20 rebates now. that would be my go to.
