  1. everytime i connect to the internet on my dial up connection, svchost.exe goes up to 99% of the CPU usage and the computer goes realy slow.

    Im havimg the same porblem..but its nothing to worry about
    svchost.exe stands for services' host just make sure its under "system" ; it basicly a group of services in one process, so the more services you run, the more svchost.exe's youll have
    just to make sure
    type run-->services.msc and look for any suspiciuos services that can be disabled...I think you can end the process but it means it might disable some services..

    I blame mgiht be an update it pc microsoft office wasnt up to yea
